About Talisman - The Cataclysm Expansion
The Cataclysm expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition introduces an entirely new main board depicting the world after the great Cataclysm. Buildings are gone, and their inhabitants now wander the land. Experience Talisman like never before with new mechanics and challenges.
New Talisman Cards offer unique effects beyond simple passage to the Inner Region. Denizen Cards represent wandering Merchants and Mystics who can trade items, Strength, or Craft—but beware the Enchantress who may turn you into a toad. Remnant Cards are placed facedown on the board, revealing ancient treasures or creatures when discovered.
Terrain Cards change how a space works, overriding its original text. Cult of the Damned introduces a cooperative mode where you must defeat six evil cultists before they claim the Crown of Command. The Eternal Crown ending adds risk to your final victory, while The One Talisman makes a single talisman the only key to the Plain of Peril.
Lands of Wonder requires collecting 12 specific cards before heading to the Crown of Command. Five new characters include the Arcane Scion (spellcaster), Barbarian (brute strength), Black Knight (threatens others), Mutant (adapts with mutation), and Scavenger (collects objects and stashes them).
This expansion includes 1 new board, 47 Adventure Cards, 6 Warlock Quest Cards, 10 Spell Cards, 6 Talisman Cards, 24 Purchase Cards, 40 Denizen Cards, 25 Remnant Cards, 10 Terrain Cards, 4 new alternative endings, and 5 new characters. Requires the base game Talisman: Digital Edition.
