Dune: Spice Wars is a 4X real-time strategy game developed by Shiro Games, the creators of Northgard. Set in Frank Herbert's iconic Dune universe, you must lead one of several factions to dominate the harsh desert planet of Arrakis. Spice is the most valuable resource in the universe, essential for interstellar travel and extending life. Control of Arrakis means control of the spice, and every faction will stop at nothing to claim it.

Choose from four distinct factions: House Atreides, House Harkonnen, the Smugglers, and the native Fremen. Each faction offers unique playstyles and strengths. House Atreides focuses on honor and political power, while House Harkonnen relies on violence and devious plots. The Smugglers gain influence through shady deals and infiltration, and the Fremen excel in desert survival and guerrilla tactics. Tailor your strategy by selecting councilors like Duncan Idaho or Chani Kynes to enhance your faction's abilities.

Gameplay balances open warfare, subterfuge, political intrigue, and economic supremacy. Use secretive agents to sabotage opponents, vote on resolutions in the Landsraad, and explore with ornithopters to discover resources. Expand your territory, exploit resources with buildings and spice harvesters, and build a strong military. But beware: outright aggression can have high political repercussions, and the planet itself threatens with withering deserts, huge storms, and titanic sandworms that devour anything in their path.

As you compete for power, you must stay alert to opposing factions and the dangers of Arrakis.
