About Zero Wing

Zero Wing is a skill-based horizontal scrolling shoot 'em up originally released in 1989 by Toaplan. You take on the role of a pilot defending the galaxy from CATS, a cyborg commander leading a band of space pirates. Armed with the powerful ZIG attack craft, you must navigate treacherous levels filled with enemies and bosses.

The game features a unique Seizer Beam that lets you capture enemies and fire them at their allies for devastating destruction. Choose from three weapon types: Red Scatter Cannon, Blue Laser, and Green Homing Missiles, each upgradable for increased damage. The co-op mode allows a second player to join at any time.

This enhanced version includes modern quality-of-life improvements such as minimal input lag, quick saves (F1-F10), and online leaderboards for Single Credit, No Assist, and Assisted plays. You can also rewind gameplay up to 18 minutes, capture replays, and use assist features like auto-fire.
