About Chexs

Chexs is a simultaneous turns strategy game developed by the creators of Qvadriga. It reimagines chess on a hexagonal board where both players give orders to all their pieces simultaneously. All movements are processed and solved at once, creating fast-paced games with dynamic fronts. The goal remains to defeat the opponent's king, but pieces compete to occupy hexes or support each other in combined attacks.

The game features a proficient AI for solo play, an open matchmaking system for online matches, and the option to play private online matches with friends. Each piece type has unique movement and combat rules adapted to the hexagonal grid, offering a fresh strategic experience.

Pawns move and capture to one of three hexes toward the enemy side. Rooks can move to a surrounding hex; if not moved, they become invulnerable. Horses jump over nearby pieces, moving two hexes in a straight line. Bishops move two hexes, or one if another piece occupies the second hex. Queens move one hex and win ties in struggles. Kings move one hex, and the game ends if captured.
