About The Ball
The Ball is a first-person action-adventure game built on Epic's Unreal Engine 3, offering a full single-player experience. You play as a swashbuckling archaeologist working on the slopes of a dormant volcano in Mexico. After getting stuck in a cavern, you quickly discover that this is no ordinary cave—it hides ancient ruins and a mysterious golden artifact known as the Ball. Your journey involves unlocking the secrets of this artifact and learning to control it.
As you venture deeper into the volcano, you'll uncover some of mankind's greatest secrets. But the path is not easy: you'll encounter not only puzzles and traps but also strange creatures that guard the mystery. Using only the Ball to defend yourself, you must overcome mummies, an undead gorilla, and other enemies. The game features physics-based gameplay that is simple to pick up yet deeply immersive.
The Ball includes 8 hours of single-player adventure across 8 huge levels. In addition to the main campaign, there is a bonus Survival game mode with 4 extra levels. You'll also find unique vehicles like an underground train and the mysterious Ball Chariot. With 35 hidden secrets and multiple Steam achievements to earn, there's plenty to explore and master.
