About Dying Light: The Beast
Dying Light: The Beast is a unique blend of open-world action and survival horror, set in the picturesque yet dangerous Castor Woods valley. After years of torment at the hands of the Baron, you escape as Kyle Crane, a man with both human and zombie DNA. Your quest for revenge will take you through a world overrun by the infected, where every step is a fight for survival.
The game introduces a dual playstyle mechanic, letting you switch between the calculated moves of a survivor and the raw, unstoppable power of a beast. This inner conflict adds a fresh layer to the classic Dying Light formula, offering a deeply personal and intense narrative experience.
Combat is taken to the extreme with primal brutality. You can crush skulls, rip heads off, and tear enemies in half, using your evolving beast-like powers to overcome any threat. The signature day/night cycle returns, with tense scavenging by day and terrifying horrors by night, forcing you to run, hide, or fight for your life.
Traversal is best-in-class first-person parkour, allowing you to leap across rooftops and climb any obstacle. You can also take the wheel of an off-road vehicle to plow through hordes of zombies, giving you unparalleled freedom in the open world. The visuals are stunning, with a handcrafted apocalypse inspired by the Swiss Alps, featuring various biomes from tourist towns to swamps.
Up to 4 players can band together in co-op, sharing progression as you face relentless enemies, scavenge for resources, and save each other from the brink of death.
