ITER-8 puts you in the boots of Operator #8, a randomly selected employee of the ITER Corporation. Your mission: drill the mysterious pillars that encircle your homeworld to extract valuable resources. But beware—the surface is crawling with hostile creatures that see you as an intruder. You'll need to balance mining efficiency with combat readiness to survive.

The core gameplay loop revolves around cracking open Pillars like a piñata to collect minerals and other resources. Each pillar you destroy brings you closer to meeting your quota, but it also attracts more enemies. You'll need to manage your time wisely between mining and defending your position.

Defense is a key part of the job. Take control of a gun tower and build automated turrets to fend off waves of alien threats. The Company expects you to protect its property with your life—literally. Upgrade your weapons and defenses to handle increasingly dangerous foes.
