About SALVO

SALVO is a tactical immersive sim that puts you in command of a hidden missile program. With central command destroyed, you must decide which technology to research, what missiles to design, and when to strike. The enemy has overwhelming air superiority, but you have underground launchers, decoy warheads, and a network of tunnels. Victory isn't about winning a pitched battle—it's about breaking the enemy's war machine through precision and deception.

The enemy defense is a layered network of radars, interceptor batteries, factories, and convoys. Each system has its own range, reaction time, and ammunition. You don't need to destroy everything; sometimes silencing a single radar or delaying a convoy can collapse the entire defensive order. SALVO models air defense as a real-time architecture, not a simple hit-point bar.

Missiles aren't picked from a catalog. You design them from scratch: choose the engine, fuel, guidance, maneuver package, and payload. Each design becomes a blueprint for production. Decide which missiles to mass-produce and stockpile for critical operations. The physics engine calculates every launch using real rocket equations, atmospheric drag, and interception geometry. There are no dice rolls—only physics.

Attacks are pre-planned strike packages. In the KGP planning panel, you can prepare up to ten attack orders simultaneously. Each strike selects a target, munition, and launcher. Execute the plan, and all launches occur in a single wave. Then adapt based on how the defense reacts. A well-planned salvo overwhelms the enemy with too many threats at once.

SALVO features ARPHA-NET, an in-game knowledge archive explaining missile classes, radar logic, and operational concepts. Kol Şahar is a dynamic war radio that broadcasts propaganda, news, and field reports, reacting to your actions in real time. The game's command terminal aesthetic—phosphor screens, NATO symbology, monospace typography—immerses you in a 1991-era military command center.
