About Imagine Earth

Imagine Earth is a futuristic planet simulation game where you take on the role of a colony manager. Your mission is to explore and populate undiscovered planets, building great cities and supplying your growing population with essential resources. The game challenges you to manage four basic resource classes while dealing with planetary ecosystems and their natural limitations in fossil fuels and environmental resilience.

As you expand, you'll need to research renewable energy sources and develop sustainable production lines to avoid overgrowth and climate collapse. The health and happiness of your colonists directly impact growth and bonus income, so managing local pollution and building placement is crucial. With over 30 constructs and 60 upgrades, you can customize your colony to suit your strategy.

The game features a story-driven campaign with 5 missions, each on a different planet, offering 10-20 hours of gameplay. You'll face unique challenges like cultural heritage sites, incoming asteroids, and corporate intrigue. Beyond the campaign, Free Game mode lets you build without goals, and Time Trial mode tests your expansion skills.

Imagine Earth includes a global climate simulation where local pollution and worldwide emissions affect the planet. Rising sea levels from melting polar caps can flood your cities, requiring immediate action. Disasters like wildfires, tornadoes, and chemical spills add urgency, while tower defense elements against space pirates and alien invaders keep you on your toes.

The game offers multiplayer competition against up to 7 AI factions, each with individual agendas. Use diplomacy, trade, and the share market to outmaneuver opponents. A planet editor allows for terraforming and customizing planets, which can be saved and shared. With procedural generation, endless worlds await in Freeplay mode.
