StarMade is a voxel-based 3D sandbox set in the vastness of space. The game features a procedurally generated infinite universe with quadrillions of galaxies, offering endless exploration. Players can create their own ships, explore new galaxies, stars, and planets, and discover space stations. The universe is yours to shape and conquer.

In StarMade, you can equip your ships with fully customizable modular weapon systems, from sniper beams to swarm missiles. The game also includes comprehensive rail and logic systems, allowing you to build moving parts like elevators, doors, and cranes. You can even create complex systems like working clocks or a real CPU using the logic gates.

The game supports both singleplayer and multiplayer modes. In multiplayer, you can join community-hosted dedicated servers or set up your own. Administrators have extensive config options to customize core game mechanics for a tailored experience. The game is platform independent, running on Windows, Linux, and Mac.

StarMade is developed for scalability, with a broad range of graphical and performance options catering to low-end users as well as those with high-end rigs and servers. The advanced build tools include copy & paste, undo, redo, replace, symmetry modes, and shape assistance systems like spheres, cycles, and torus.
