USC: Counterforce is a retro-inspired turn-based squad tactics game set in a tense sci-fi world. You control a strike team of commandos sent to planetary body M-8322 to investigate and neutralize the remnants of a mostly unidentified alien threat. What you find may change the course of history.
The game features a new Campaign Mode where you take charge as your own personalized commander. Lead your fleet in a story-driven, procedurally generated, multi-ended campaign. Manage bases on the planet surface, handle requests from various factions to build your reputation, and defend fleet relay stations—your only connection to Earth.
Deep squad management is at the core of USC: Counterforce. Customize your team with complex character attributes and skills, detailed combat mechanics, and an elaborate inventory system. Choose from hundreds of weapons and gadget combinations, including melee and ranged weapons with various ammo types, hacking tools, mines, turrets, and deployable solutions.
