Dethroned is an adventure game where you assemble a team of extraordinary creatures, build influence, and level up your mage to recover lost realms. The world was once ruled by mages until the rebellious Qorus usurped them. Now, you must restore order with the help of fantastic monsters and powerful artifacts.

Explore a fantastic world that combines hand-designed locations with procedural generation, making each playthrough unique. Complete quests to expand the world and unlock new locations, spells, and artifacts. The game offers relatively short runs of about one hour, perfect for quick sessions.

Each mage has a unique base skill and development paths that unlock as you gain experience. For example, the necromancer can focus on summoning the dead, cursing enemies, or mixing skills. Choose your path and develop your mage to fit your playstyle.

Spells are disposable but powerful. A well-chosen spell can destroy an enemy team or save your units. You can only carry a few at a time, so choose wisely. Bottled spells add a strategic layer to combat, requiring careful planning and timing.
