Skautfold: Moonless Knight is a challenging Metroidvania action game set in a Lovecraftian alternate history. You play as Gray, the 2nd Knight, sent on a diplomatic mission to the Dawn Empire of Japan. The mission quickly turns into a nightmare when lunatic cultists spark a religious coup, threatening the Japanese Emperor and your allies. Explore the treacherous Oda Imperial Palace, navigate complex factional politics, and fight to secure the Empire's survival.
The game features a semi-open world with non-linear exploration. You can tackle bosses in any order, discover hidden shortcuts, and unlock helpful familiars and ancient Relics to enhance your abilities. Aid wounded soldiers, gather Yth stones, and even find hidden ninja pugs amidst the Eldritch horrors.
