About Twin Shot Deluxe

Twin Shot Deluxe is a complete remaster of the classic arcade platform shooter, bringing back the beloved Angel Cats to defend their homeland from invaders using bows and arrows. With over 200 brand new levels across four worlds, each world introduces unique challenges, bosses, and enemies. The game supports local co-op for up to 4 players, as well as competitive modes to see who will be crowned champion. A brand new Atlantis theme adds 50 additional stages with new enemies and mechanics, extending the adventure.

The game has received a complete graphical overhaul, with every sprite, animation, character, background, and menu redone to elevate the art to new heights. The frame rate has been upgraded from 20FPS to a smooth 60FPS, and the aspect ratio now supports modern 16:9 displays, offering 78% more playable area. A new intro animatic and ending illustrations have been remastered to pixel art perfection, ensuring a visually stunning experience.

Controls have been revamped to include improved air control, stop-on-a-dime responsiveness, coyote time, and variable jump height, all while maintaining the classic feel. The game also introduces Hats, which are not just cosmetic but provide special buffs such as shooting backwards, jumping off enemies, or turning to stone. Tag mode adds a competitive twist where players tag others with arrows to claim the prized hat.

Cheats and Treats return with a plethora of unlockable abilities and options for enhanced replayability.
